After being married for six years, singers Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams are ending their marriage.
The two were married in 2009 in Savannah, Georgia. “Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage,” a rep for Moore told People magazine. “It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time.”
Keeping Their Marriage Private
The couple has always been very private about their relationship. Adams even hung up during a radio interview when the DJs continued to press him about Moore. The pop icon and alt-country singer-songwriter collaborated on multiple songs including “Empty Rooms.” Despite keeping their relationship out of the tabloids, the two did share their five-year anniversary last year on Instagram. Moore wrote, “Celebrating love w the greatest friends and family last night. Feeling incredibly grateful today.”
